Company Profile
Mida Sign Services was formed
in January 1984 by Mike Smith. For the first four years or so,
the majority of the work carried out was the installation of
signage and lighting to public houses.
By the mid to latter part of the eighties we employed 3 Installation
Crews, this gave us the opportunity to complete larger installation
contracts.
We remained at a constant size for several years, constantly
learning and extending our knowledge of the sign trade. In the
late ninties the company expanded to six installation crews
again allowing us to complete many nationwide contracts.
At the beginning of 2000, we moved into larger premises which
gave us the opportunity to develop more as a company and expand
our services which now includes graphic application, project
management and European contracts.
The Sign & Graphics trade has come a long way over recent
years, with new innovations such as digital technology, modern
illumination methods like chain lighting, LED displays and Fibre
Optic.
Mida Sign Services are proud to say that over these years we
have kept up with this new technology to keep us at the forefront
of our chosen profession.
All site engineers are fully trained in the use of various types
of access equipment including mobile elevation platforms and
mobile aluminium scaffolding. |

Each engineer has also gained the construction skill site
safety certificate CSCS
